What is the cut off time for an order to ship out on the day it is placed?

We will make every attempt to process all orders received the same day, however, during peak times it may take up to 1-2 business days to process your order. If you absolutely need a product in a hurry or have a specific cutoff date, please provide that information in the comments section of the checkout page and contact us via email or by phone immediately after placing your order.  If it is after hours or you receive our voicemail, please leave a message and we will make every attempt to return your call as soon as possible. Please remember that Fedex does not deliver on Saturdays.

Can I do partial shipments on International orders?

Unfortunately, we cannot do partial shipments on International orders due to the high cost of shipping. We will ship the entire order when it can be shipped complete.

How soon will I receive my order?

There are many factors that can affect when you receive your purchase. First, is the availability of the item. If the item is in stock, we will make every attempt to process all orders received the same day, however, during peak times it may take up to 1-2 business days to process your order. If you absolutely need a product in a hurry or have a specific cutoff date, please provide that information in the comments section of the checkout page and contact us via email or by phone immediately after placing your order.  If it is after hours or you receive our voicemail, please leave a message and we will make every attempt to return your call as soon as possible.. Our shipping department processes orders Monday-Friday.  If you place an order Saturday or Sunday, in stock items will generally ship Monday, except for US Federal holidays. The second factor that determines when you receive your item is the shipping method you choose. Keep in mind that packages shipped on Friday for 1-day or 2-day air will not be delivered until the next business day(s). Please contact our customer service office for prices.

  • USPS Parcel - (AKA, slow boat to China) usually takes between 3-7 business days.
  • USPS First Class - Usually takes between 2-5 business days.  This is the equivalent to Priority mail for packages weighing under 13 ounces.
  • USPS Priority - Usually takes between 2-5 business days.
  • USPS Express - Usually takes between 1-2 business days.
  • Fedex 2 Day - Usually takes 2 business days and provides much better tracking information.
  • Fedex Express Saver - Usually takes between 2-5 business days and better tracking information.
  • Fedex Overnight - Is the fastest method and will usually arrive by 3pm next day.
  • Drop Shipments - In some cases in order to expedite your shipment, we have established relationships with some of our manufacturers to be able to ship your product directly from them to you.  In most cases they use UPS or Fedex as their carrier.  We will use the equivalent shipping method to what you have selected at checkout.
What if the item I ordered is not in stock?

If the item you ordered is not in stock, it will usually ship in 3-9 business days. There are some cases when the item is backordered from the manufacturer. These items can take from 2-8 weeks to be delivered to you. We will do our best to give you an estimated ship date based on information we receive from the manufacturer. You may cancel a backordered item anytime before it is shipped. If you have ordered multiple items, we will ship the in stock items immediately. Any backordered items will ship separately at no cost to you.

**We are not liable for the non-delivery, delay, or damages caused by the shipping company, weather conditions, etc. However, we will make every attempt to track your package and assist you in the process**

What is the In Store Kissimmee and Clermont Pickup option?

The Kissimmee and Clermont, Florida In Store Pick Up option is designed to allow our local customers in the Orlando area and our visiting dance convention and oversees customers to shop online and pick up their orders at one of our retail locations. Thus combining the online and offline experice of The DanceWear Corner. Should you accidentally select this option in error, we will make the adjustment for shipping charges on your order before it is processed.

Simple instructions for using the In Store Pick up options:
  1. Select dancewear and accessories you wish to purchase from www.dancewearcorner.com
  2. Proceed to checkout. Select either Kissimmee or Clermont In Store pick up from shipping options.
  3. Complete the checkout process.  
  4. Once your order is processed by our staff, you will be notified via email on the status of your order. When your order is ready for In Store Pick up, you will be notified via email.
  5. Simply print off that In Store Pick up notification email and bring it with you to the selected location to pick up your order.
  6. Upon arriving at the location, notify a staff member that you are here to pick up an online order. Hand them you paper, and they will assist you with the pick up process.

Do you ship internationally or to a military address?

We will ship to an international address that matches the credit card information. Shipping prices for international deliveries are quoted in real time online when you are in the checkout process. If you are shipping to a military address, you will need to select your APO address from the “State” drop down menu and United States of America from the "Country" drop down menu.

Your package is subject to customs, tariff, duty, Value added Tax (VAT), etc. And no, we do not offer the "this package is a gift, wink wink" option. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or delayed shipments. Please contact your local Postal or Customs agency for help on retrieving your shipments.

Why was my package undeliverable?

Our carriers may deem a package as undeliverable for one of the following reasons:

  • Incorrect Address – If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is generally returned to us by the carrier or by the unintended recipient.
  • Address Format – If a post office box address was entered in a format our system does not recognize, the package may be shipped through a carrier that does not deliver to a post office box.
  • Refused By Recipient – If a gift recipient is not expecting a gift, they may refuse the package if they believe it was sent to them in error. If you are sending a gift, please let your recipient know that a surprise is on the way!

We are unable to reship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase the items that could not be delivered, a new order must be placed.

How much do you charge for shipping online?

Unlike our competitors, DanceWearCorner.com does not intentially try to make money on our shipping cost. Our checkout process is set up to give you real time quotes to ship to your location. Prices are based on the weight of your package and where you are having the purchase sent.
